Advanced Setup Building Capabilities

UTstudio+ allows for the creation of full inspection setups of phased array (PA), Time of flight diffraction (TOFD), FMC, TFM and conventional UT for individual and multiscan setups. 

Material / weld profiles are created and scan plans including single and dual axes encoded scans can all be developed to ensure full coverage of the target item. 

Configurations can be exported onto a USB or sent via E-Mail and copied onto your system for the technician to load and begin their calibrations.

Auto Defect Sizing

UTstudio+ includes our annotation tools used to automatically size indications according to a user defined parameter, 6dB drop, thickness range etc. 

With customizable information columns the user can extract the exact information needed for the inspection.

This powerful tool aids NDT professionals in providing highly accurate defect sizing information to their clients.

Weld Inspection Data Review

Reviewing of weld inspection data is a skilled task requiring expertise and experience from the user. UTstudio+ provides many tools to make the process easier.

Full customisation of the layout, views, and palettes, allowing the user to review data in their preferred formats.

Extraction boxes allow the user to examine indications individually, paired with full manipulation and zooming in each window, the user is equipped with a software that gives them the tools and capabilities to have the best chance at defect detection and sizing.

FMC / TFM Data Extraction and Review

FMC and TFM have revolutionised ultrasonic inspection in recent years, becoming a powerful tool in detection and imaging of discontinuities. 

UTstudio+ takes FMC data and allows the user to extract a Region of Interest (ROI) in any propagation mode available, saving these as new scan files for individual review. 

TFM / TFMi scans recorded on the VEO3 can be reviewed with all the same tools available weld inspection, providing users with top rate software.

C-Scan Data Review

C-Scan data from corrosion mapping and composite inspections are easily analysed on UTstudio+. Full gate parameter manipulation and layout options allow for fully customizable analysis views.

Annotation tools record thickness ranges, defect area and exact position of discontinuities located in the test item.

Report and CSV Generation

Reporting of data can be the most important part of an inspection, requiring information to be clearly and accurately conveyed to the client.

UTstudio+ gives the user the ability to generate a PDF report that includes all inspection and calibration data, and details any discontinuities highlighted with annotations along with the dimensions.

UTstudio+ can export data into CSV format for use in calculation and evaluation systems used by end users when needed.
