With an EE (Electrical Engineering) background, Yvan first worked as a software developer in different industries, specialising in real-time embedded systems. He designed a lightweight RTOS and adapted a few others to specific processors. He then managed small groups of developers before being given the responsibilities of software manager, then R&D manager. In 2007, Yvan joined Sonatest to manage the product development team that namely designed, developed, and delivered the Veo, Prisma, WP2 and Wave.
