What is the new X2B?
The new X2B is the workhorse for weld inspection applications with an improved matching layer for superior signal-to-noise ratio. It is available in both 32 and 64-element configurations. Besides the popular 5 MHz model, it is also available at 2 MHz for deep penetration or coarse grain structures, and as high as 15 MHz for extremely high sensitivity and near surface resolution.
